Steps to Happiness




I feel that this blog post is necessary because when we asked you guys to be happy, it does not just happen in a split second, I believe that it takes probably a few steps or maybe..... 9. Yes, recently i have researched on the steps to happiness and as well as I am trying to practise it, I wish to share the joy with everyone. However the catch is, too much knowledge at one go will cause indigestion causing all of you to not being able to follow the steps well, therefore this blogpost is going to split into 3 section,  3  steps each so be sure to keep an eye on this blog!


Step.


Be an Optimist : 

Long time ago, researchers have followed people who won lottery and to their amuse, they realise that those who won the lottery were not more happy then those who did not a year later. Researchers have then conclude that everybody has something known as the "Baseline", this baseline is the one that will determine how happy we are and that we are the ones setting the baseline.

1) Add the small things to sum up your day as well. For example, the fact that you manage to wake up to another day of sunshine without anything happening, because for all we know, 3000 people who went to sleep was not able to wake up everyday ever again.

2) Learn to view things in the proper light. Ever heard of the "half cup / half emptied cup" theory? For example, broke up recently? Maybe, you were meant for greater things. Maybe life is giving you a chance for greater reasons.


Step.

Follow your Gut :

There was a recent study that told 2 groups of people 2 different thing. The first group was told to analysis a magazine, weight its pros and cons and think about the future of this magazine, while the other was told to choose base on their instinct. 2 weeks later, researcher have found out that the one that followed their gut was much happier. Moral of the story, follow your guts, when you have to make a crucial decision whereby you do not know what to do, probably those decisions are highly similar to each other and that choosing any wont make much of a difference so just follow your gut.

The have a saying in life you only need 3C`s, choice chance and change. In life you need to make a choice to take a chance, or your life will never change.


Step. 
Own Yourself:

They always have a saying "Your greatest enemy is yourself". We need to learn to accept and embrace ourself. When we look into the mirror what we want to say to ourself would be "hey, i am happy to be me". These are the thoughts that should run through our head. Never apologise anyone for something that is part of you and always remain confident for who you are.
